Yui KIRIYAMA

Yui Kiriyama is a high school student who suffers from androphobia, a fear of men. She is a martial artist and is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat. She is also a member of the Kokoro Connect club, which is a group of students who explore the mysteries of the human heart. Yui's androphobia stems from a traumatic experience she had when she was younger. She was attacked by a man and was left with permanent scars. This experience has made her afraid of all men, and she is unable to interact with them without feeling anxious or scared. Despite her fear, Yui is a strong and determined person. She is determined to overcome her androphobia and live a normal life. She joins the Kokoro Connect club in the hopes of learning more about herself and her fears. The club members help Yui to confront her fears and to start to rebuild her trust in men. Yui also starts to develop feelings for one of the club members, Taichi Yaegashi.
